Our vision is to develop this block as a centre of excellence in Maternal and Child health care. In this connection, the Maternal and Child health block requires some additional medical equipment. We are looking for an international Matching grant partner to support us in this noble cause.

Rotary Club of Madras Metro was started in 1985 as the 11th Rotary club in the then city of Madras, District 3230. Currently, the club is under the newly bifurcated District 3232 and has 51 active members. Metro has been a top performer especially with its contribution to TRF.

Metro has 105 PHFS, 7 Major Donors and one Arch Club Chair’s Circle Member through one associate, Mr.Ram Sundaram who has contributed US$ 600,000 to TRF for polio eradication. Metro has an overall contribution of more than a Million Dollar Contribution to the Foundation. Metro will be the second club to achieve this Rare Feat in the district.
